Frequently asked questions
It's grounded in real placements and accepted offers made through GetLinks over the last 12 months — 18,400+ data points across 1,240 companies — plus partner-verified salary bands shared when employers post new requisitions. It is not a self-reported survey.
The median is the salary in the exact middle of the dataset — half earn less, half earn more. We use the median because averages get pulled up by a small number of outlier offers. The "range" you see is P25–P75, which covers the middle 50% of cases.
Five major ASEAN markets today: Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Singapore, and Ho Chi Minh. We'll add additional Thai provinces and a Hanoi page in Q2 2026.
The database is rebuilt weekly. High-sample roles (e.g. Software Engineer in Bangkok) tend to move slowly. Low-sample roles carry a lower confidence rating shown clearly on each page — we never disguise a low-data range as certain.
Low-sample roles show a "Not enough data" state instead of a fake range. You can upload your CV — when we have enough data for that role and city, we'll notify you by email or LINE.
